Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday season! I know many have made new year’s resolutions and are excited to start achieving those new goals! That brings me to January 3. This is International Mind-Body Wellness Day, while I know the market is on Thursday, and this is published a day after the observance, I wanted to acknowledge it. It’s important that our minds as well as our bodies are maintained equally. One of my favorite people, Andrea Cooke, says “There is no health without mental health.” She is absolutely correct!

With this in mind there is an acronym that I found and really like! WELL.

W – Work-Life Harmony

E – Expect/Enable Excellence

L – Live Your Purpose

L – Love, Not Fear

This article is a good read about Mind-Body Wellness Day. https://nationaltoday.com/international-mind-body-wellness-day/

And here is a wonderful post about activities that we can do to celebrate this day!

This weather has been a bit cold and I hope that you were able to stay warm and cozy through the extreme cold. Unfortunately our crops weren’t able to do that. Loy suffered a big loss and he’s trying to figure out what he is bringing, so we won’t know until he is there! This time of year can be tricky for produce, so you have likely seen that we have had less, and the simple answer is that plants do not like the cold weather.

We will be missing Bon Bon Bakery this week, but we have Bakery 2 Go back, so come stock up on wonderful baked goods that are amazing for all sorts of things! I love the sourdough for a savory bread pudding!

Can’t wait to see you all!
